Project overview

The main objective of this project is to provide emergency GBV protection assistance to displaced people and vulnerable host community members in North Kivu and South Kivu provinces. This UNFPA project life-saving assistance to GBV- survivors by providing multi-sectoral services (medical, psychosocial, legal and socio-economic reintegration support, including through the provision of dignity kits and cash assistance) and by strengthening GBV risk prevention in displacement areas though awareness raising and capacity building of service providers and community leaders. The project provides humanitarian assistance to 10,061 people, including 5,700 women, 3,728 children, and including 704 persons with disabilities.
