Food assistance in response to recent displacements in Cabo Delgado (24-RR-WFP-015)

Project overview

The main objective of this project is to provide food assistance in response to recent displacements in Cabo Delgado. WFP aims to assist 86,130 people affected by recent attacks in Chiure, prioritizing those who were forced to flee. WFP replenishes food stocks and provides in-kind and voucher aid for food. Around 151 metric tons of food are being distributed, with an additional 400 metric tons replenishing initial response stocks in Chiure and Erati. The project provides life-saving assistance to 86,130 people, including 19,707 women, 18,190 men, and 48,233 children. An estimated 13,781 people with disabilities benefit from this project.
