Project overview
The main objective of this project is to ensure the physical and psychological safety of women and girls affected by the dzud in Mongolia through a comprehensive and collaborative approach. This UNFPA project provides dignity kits containing essential protection and hygiene supplies, safe spaces for women and girls, awareness service on prevention from the risk of sexual exploitation and abuse (PSEA), capacity building for local front liners on basic mental health support and outreach. The intervention provides humanitarian assistance to 4,000 people (2,000 women, 2,000 girls) including 105 persons with disabilities.
