Emergency agricultural livelihoods assistance for drought affected communities in Afar, Amhara and Tigray regions (24-RR-FAO-007)

Project overview

The main objective of this FAO project is to save lives and livelihoods among vulnerable drought-affected communities in Afar, Amhara and Tigray regions of Ethiopia. This assistance enables people to increase food availability and access, and protects livestock assets to increase availability and access to livestock products including milk and meat and ensure improved food and nutrition security of the targeted households. The project provides life-saving assistance to 415,000 people, including 96,280 women, 94, 620 men and 112,050 children, and including 74,700 persons with disabilities.
