Project overview

The main objective of this project is to reach refugees and host populations affected by flooding with assistance in the health, water, sanitation and hygiene, protection, food security and shelter sectors. Through this project, UNHCR provides lifesaving, multisectoral assistance to affected people in the form of protection services, emergency livelihood activities to ensure access to food, support to health services in collaboration with WHO, emergency shelter assistance and rehabilitation of water and sanitation services. Of the 44,000 people targeted through this project, 14,960 are women and 15,840 are children.
