Project overview
The main objective of this project is to provide water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) assistance vulnerable communities prone to monsoon flooding in the districts of Bogra, Jamalpur, Gaibandha, Kurigram, and Sirajgani. This UNICEF project provide access to safe drinking water through mobile water treatment plants, and the distribution of jerry cans and water purification tablets. The project provides humanitarian assistance to 65,600 people, of whom are 19,151 are women, 18,503 are men, and 27,946 are children. 1,837 people with disabilities will also benefit from this project. This project is part of an Anticipatory Action (AA) framework.
