Multi-sectoral integrated intervention in cholera affected communities (24-RR-CEF-007)

Project overview

The main objective of this UNICEF project is this project is to contribute to reduction in morbidity and mortality due to cholera through implementation of multi-sectoral programme in targeted high-risk districts and populations. This UNICEF project enhances Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene interventions with targeted "Stop cholera kits" distributions and support for schools, healthcare, and communities. Integrates Risk Communication and Community Engagement for planning and mass-media messaging, while also improving community-based case management, nutrition, and protection services for cholera-affected individuals. The project provides humanitarian assistance to 1,060,000 people, including 239,611 men, 258,858 women, 561,531 children, and 76,824 persons with disabilities.
