Project overview

The main objective of this project is reduce the mortality and morbidity of cholera in the Comoros and stop the local and regional spread in neighboring countries. The Health response includes deploying rapid response teams, distributing cholera kits and other medical supplies, installing and supporting case management and treatment structures within communities and intensifying epidemiological surveillance with active case finding. The project provides life-saving assistance to 34,481 people, of whom 9,655 are women and 7,586 are girls. 690 people with disabilities benefit from this project.
