Project overview

The main objective of this project is to provide integrated health services to vulnerable communities in the Sahel, Centre-Nord and Est regions of Burkina Faso. This WHO project puts in place two field hospitals for primary health care, deploys medical staff to strengthen facilities under pressure, provides medicines to selected health facilities, treats cases of severe acute malnutrition with complications, and provide integrate health care to children. The project provides humanitarian assistance to almost 117,000 people, including over 29,000 women, over 66,000 children, and including 7,000 persons with disabilities.
