Project overview
The main objective of this project is to provide emergency food and nutrition assistance to vulnerable people in the Sahel, Centre-Nord and Est regions of Burkina Faso, and to provide crucial logistics support to humanitarian actors via UNHAS. This WFP project provides life-saving food assistance to internally displaced people, covering their food needs for three months, and supplementary nutritional assistance to pregnant and lactating women to prevent malnutrition. The project provides humanitarian assistance to 7,460 people, including over 3,000 women, over 1,400 children, and including over 30 persons with disabilities.
