Project overview
The main objective of this project is to provide emergency nutrition and water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) assistance to vulnerable people in the Sahel, Centre-Nord and Est regions of Burkina Faso. This UNICEF project provides fresh water, builds latrines, promotes hygiene, distributes WASH kits, provides access to prevention and treatment services for severe acute malnutrition. The project provides humanitarian assistance to 23,000 people, including over 5,200 women, over 13,500 children, and over 200 persons with disabilities.
