Project overview

Through this project UNMAS provides Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) services to to hospitals, schools, water and food distribution points, as well as rubble removal and reconstruction sites for the UN and humanitarian partners as well as civilian sites, including risk assessment, clearance and rendering safe of Explosive Remnants of War (ERW), and deep buried bomb (DBB) excavation and disposal services. The agency also conducts dissemination of Explosive Ordnance Risk Education (EORE) messages to the UN and humanitarian partners and at-risk populations. The project targets 1.05 million affected people with Protection - MA activities.
