Project overview
The main aim of this $2.25m WHO project is to provide integrated primary healthcare. The project is scaling up primary healthcare through outreach teams, medical and laboratory supplies, Oral Rehydration Points, community engagement, and mental health and psychosocial support. It is also ensuring timely detection and control of water and vector-borne diseases with rapid response teams, support for health facilities, basic laboratory services, and distribution of information materials. In addition, WHO is expanding treatment for severely malnourished children with complications in stabilization centers, community-based malnutrition screening, and micronutrient supplementation. In total, the project targets 286,034 people, including 52,916 women and 88,671 girls, and including approximately 12,906 people with disabilities.
