Project overview
The main aim of this $1.375m WFP project is to provide food security support to the most vulnerable and flood-affected households to address food consumption gaps. WFP is providing unconditional cash transfers to 42,015 people, focusing on 7,003 households in Belet Weyne, Jowhar, and Bardhere. The project utilizes a hybrid modality of mobile money and e-vouchers to ensure efficient, transparent, and accountable delivery of entitlements. In total, the project targets 42,015 people, including 15,957 women and 5,032 girls, and including approximately 891 people with disabilities.
