Project overview
The main aim of this $1.8m UNICEF project is to provide life-saving WASH emergency response. Activities include the provision of safe water, protection of water sources in flood-prone areas, rehabilitation of damaged sources, and the construction of flood-resistant latrines. The project also focuses on preventing and treating waterborne diseases, distributing water treatment products, and providing emergency hygiene items with hygiene promotion activities. In total, the project targets 60,000 people, including 19,980 women and 10,320 girls, and including approximately 9,000 people with disabilities.
