Project overview
The project provided emergency assistance to populations displaced from and within Abyei Administrative Area (AAA) who fled their homes due to intensified violent intercommunal clashes. The project covered the emergency shelter and non-food items (ES-NFI) and water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) sectors to address the direct needs of the displaced people in Abyei town, and Twic County in Warrap State. The project reached 53,738 affected people with its WASH engagement and 93,429 people with ES-NFI.
