Project overview
With this CERF-funded project, UNHCR was able to implement six key activities, including protection monitoring and identification of persons with specific needs, referrals to multisectoral services, distribution of core relief items, community engagement and Gender-Based Violence (GBV) awareness raising, survivor centered psychosocial support and Gender-Based Violence case management. In total, UNHCR and its partners provided lifesaving protection support to 16,651 people, including 6,660 women, 4,162, girls, and 1,541 people with disabilities, and tailored Sexual- and Gender-Based Violence support to 7,771 people, including 3,497 women, 1,943 girls, and 622 people with disabilities.
