Project overview
Effectively providing supplementary nutrient rich and micro-nutrient tablets can circumvent increased cases of acute malnutrition and excess morality. In complementarity with UNICEF, WFP will use the $500,000 to provide 62.4 MT of Plumpy Doz for 7,089 girls and 6,811 boys aged under 2 years and 102.8 MT of super-cereal plus for 5,700 pregnant and lactating women for the prevention of chronic and acute malnutrition.
