Project overview
The main objective of this project is to improve access to case management and emergency psychosocial support for GBV survivors, children at risk, and people with specific needs; accelerate pre-registration/biometric verification and referral of new arrivals by reducing risks related to lack of civil documents; and strengthen community mechanisms to prevent and mitigate protection risks and local tensions. This United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) project provides pre-registration/biometric verification and referral of 25000 new arrivals; and strengthening community mechanisms to prevent and mitigate protection risks and local tensions. The project provides life-saving assistance to 30000 people, including 6885 women, 6615 men, 16500 children, and including 1500 people with disabilities.
