Project overview
The main objective of this project is to reduce morbidity and mortality related to acute malnutrition and diarrheal diseases among vulnerable populations in the targeted departments of Maradi and Tillabéri by strengthening access to essential nutrition services and water, sanitation, and hygiene services. This UNICEF project provides 500 latrines, reconstructs/rehabilitates 5 water points, admits over 12,000 children to SAM treatment programme, among other activities. The project provides life-saving assistance to 80,436 people, including 9,639 women, 9,261 men, 61,536 children, and including 3,277 people with disabilities.
