Project overview
The main objective of this project is to provide safe and efficient air transport services to transport humanitarian personnel and urgently needed cargo to remote and hard to reach areas where urgent assistance is needed. This WFP project ensures that the UN Humanitarian Air Service (UNHAS) can enable humanitarian personnel and cargo to reach crisis-affected populations with life-saving assistance. The project supports 12,000 humanitarian personnel from 184 organizations and facilitates the air transport of 250 MT of cargo.”
