Democratic Republic of the Congo

Violence/Clashes, 01 Apr 2026

Overview

The humanitarian situation in the Democratic Republic of the Congo continues to deteriorate due to the combined effects of persistent armed conflict, population displacement, widespread insecurity, and major logistical constraints. In this context, UNHAS remains an essential service for enabling humanitarian access to vulnerable populations in provinces such as Ituri, North Kivu, Tanganyika, Tshopo, Kasai, Sankuru, and the Ubangi provinces, where humanitarian needs are high and access constraints are particularly severe.
