Project overview
The main objective of this UNICEF project is to deliver WASH services and, ensure the safety and well-being of children by providing psychosocial support and protection from abuse and exploitation in the aftermath of the earthquake. The project enhances access to child protection services including MHPSS and case management to children and their caregivers and improves access to water, sanitation, and hygiene with an emphasis on building back better and resilient services. The intervention provides humanitarian assistance to 8,200 people (2,010 men, 2,010 women and 4,180 children), including 390 persons with disabilities.
