Project overview
The main objective of this project is to meet the immediate food needs of newly arrived refugees from the Democratic Republic of the Congo at collection points, transit, and reception centers, while also preventing and treating acute malnutrition among children under five and pregnant and breastfeeding women and girls. This WFP project provides food distribution and nutrition support among other activities. The project provides life-saving assistance to 36,000 people, including 10,000 women, 6,000 men, 20,000 children, and 720 persons with disabilities.
