The main objective of this project is to address the life-threatening impact of severe wasting among children in transit centres in Nyakabande, Matanda, and Kabazana in Kisoro, Kanungu, and Isingiro districts. UNICEF distributes last-mile nutrition therapeutic commodities and supplies (RUTF, F100, F75 & ReSoMal) to treat children. The project provides live-saving assistance to 2,000 children and including 70 children with disabilities.
