Project overview
The main objective of this project is to provide Emergency Shelter and Non-Food Items assistance to vulnerable communities affected by conflict displacement. This UNHCR project provides lightweight emergency shelters, as well as the distribution of basic household items. The project also strengthens community protection mechanisms, identifies and refers people with specific needs to appropriate services, and holds community awareness sessions on gender-based violence prevention and response. The project provides life-saving assistance to 44,800 people, including 10,304 women, 7,616 men, 26,880 children, and 6,720 persons with disabilities.
