Action Anticipatoire: Appui sanitaire d’urgence aux populations confrontées aux inondations dans la province de N'Djamena, Tchad (CERF-TCD-24-RR-WHO-33958)

Project overview

Through this anticipatory action project, WHO provides critical healthcare services to 60,953 people, including 36,660 women and girls at risk of flooding in N'Djaména, Chad in anticipation of the projected overflow of the Chari River. In particular, WHO provides urgent care for medical-surgical-psychological emergencies via short-term deployment of emergency medical teams (EMTs) and set up of medical tents, epidemiological surveillance and supply of primary healthcare kits, cholera kits and malaria kits to health centers and disaster sites.
