Project overview
Through this anticipatory action project, UNHCR provides proactive shelter, non-food item and cash assistance to support families at risk in protecting themselves from the humanitarian impact of the imminent flooding in N'Djamena, Chad. UNHCR assists 14,500 people, including 7,500 women and girls with life-saving cash transfers coupled with the supply of plastic sheeting, tarpaulins, and tools to facilitate self-built and reinforcement of shelters.
