Project overview
Through this anticipatory action project, UNFPA provides emergency sexual and reproductive health assistance and protection services to 20,544 people, including 18,700 women and girls at risk of flooding in N'Djamena, Chad in anticipation of the projected overflow of the Chari River. In particular, UNFPA provides assisted childbirth services and referrals via mobile clinics, unconditional cash to GBV survivors to cover transportation to holistic GBV care centers as well as dignity and menstrual hygiene kits to vulnerable women and girls.
