Project overview
The main objective of this project is to provide life-saving assistance to people affected by floods in the Borno region of Nigeria. This FAO project provides vaccinations to prevent animal disease in cows, sheep and goats, protecting the remaining assets of affected households, and supports the production and provision of Tom Brown, a locally produced supplemental food. The project provides humanitarian assistance to over 27,000 people, including over 7,000 women, almost 16,000 children, and including over 4,000 persons with disabilities.
