Project overview
The main objective of this project is to provide life-saving assistance to people affected by floods in the Borno region of Nigeria. This UNICEF project provides emergency primary health care services to address waterborne and vaccine-preventable childhood diseases and provides essential WASH supplies and services, including water system rehabilitation and toilet construction, environmental sanitation and conducting hygiene promotion campaigns. The project provides humanitarian assistance to over 88,500 people, including over 17,700 women, over 56,400 children, and including over 13,000 persons with disabilities.
