Project overview
The main objective of the project is to support the rapid restoration of local health networks following the damage caused by Hurricane Oscar in the province of Guantánamo. This WHO project aims to increase the availability of essential health services (including mental health) in the municipalities impacted by Hurricane Oscar and to detect and contain the diseases outbreaks in all damaged areas. The intervention provides humanitarian assistance to 149,743 people (55,660 women, 57,772 men and 36,311 children).
