Project overview
The main objective of the project is to provide a tailored emergency response with non-food items to vulnerable people in shelters in the most affected provinces of Guantánamo. This IOM project restores dignified living conditions and strengthens the resilience of internally displaced persons residing in both state-run shelters and with host communities. The project provides humanitarian assistance to 11,700 people (5,400 women, 4,500 men and 1,800 children), including 702 persons with disabilities.
