Project overview
The main objective of the project is to rehabilitate local vegetables production to improve food and nutritional security of vulnerable people of the municipalities most affected by Hurricane Oscar. This FAO project enables affected farmers to produce local short-cycle nutritious crop though the distribution of seed and agricultural tools and irrigation equipment. The intervention provides humanitarian assistance to 20,456 people (5,962 women, 13,903 men and 591 children).
