Project overview
The main goal of this project is to provide food security and nutrition assistance to vulnerable communities affected by drought in the municipalities of Bobonaro, Covalima, Ermera, Lautem, Liquica, and Manufahi. This WFP project aims to improve the nutritional situation of vulnerable populations by providing in-kind food packages and specialized nutritious meals to pregnant and lactating women. The project targets 16,852 people with food security, of whom 4,550 are women, and 4,719 are men, 7,553 are children. 674 persons with disabilities are also targeted. Additionally, 1,001 women are targeted with nutrition activities.
