Project overview
The main objective of this project is to provide multi-purpose cash assistance to vulnerable communities affected by drought in the Somali, Oromia and other regions of southern Ethiopia. This IOM project provides unconditional, unrestricted multi-purpose cash (MPC) support to drought-affected households to address their most urgent, essential needs, in line with the principles and guidance of the Cash Working Group (CWG). The project targets 51,450 people, including 12,490 women, 11,784 men, 27,176 children, and including 5,627 people with disabilities.
