Project overview
The main objective of this project is to provide food security assistance and multipurpose cash transfers to vulnerable communities affected by drought in the Somali, Oromia, and other regions of southern Ethiopia. This project supports animal health treatment, the facilitation of vaccination campaigns, and sensitization on good animal husbandry practices. The immediate needs of 3,790 households are addressed through unrestricted cash transfers. This FAO project supports 449,949 people, including 102,588 women, 104,389 men, 242,972 children, and including 79,191 people with disabilities.
