Project overview
The main objective of this project is to provide education and water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) to vulnerable communities affected by flood and conflict. This UNICEF project provides access to quality, safe and inclusive learning opportunities for children in affected communities, and also aims to reduce incidences of WASH related diseases and improve the quality of life for children and women in flood and conflict prone areas by providing WASH interventions. The project provides humanitarian assistance to 6,034 people in the Education sector and to 118,106 people including 30,122 women and 57.563 children as well as 13,781 people with disabilities in the WASH sector.
