Project overview
The main objective of this project is to reduce the protection risks of vulnerable communities through the improvement of their food security and nutrition (FSN), the rapid restoration or creation of their livelihoods, and the community awareness and knowledge building integrating gender and inter-sectional approaches. This FAO project identifies vulnerable households and their preferred food production activity (agriculture, fishery, small livestock, etc.) to be developed responding to specific nutrition needs of the community (animal protein, micronutrients, etc.). The project provides life-saving assistance to 10,490 people, including 3,927 women, 2,100 men and 4,463 children.
