Project overview
The main objective of this project is to provide health and nutrition assistance to internally displaced persons affected by flooding in the Lac district. This WHO project provides access to essential primary healthcare services, procures life-saving medicines, and provides treatment to severe complications of malnutrition. The health component of the project provides humanitarian assistance to 140,000 people, including 33,000 women, 31,000 men, 76,000 children, and including 21,000 persons with disabilities. The nutrition component provides humanitarian assistance to 12,000 people, including 2,800 women, 2,700 men, 6,500 children, and including 1,800 persons with disabilities.
