Project overview
To complement WHO’s immediate relief efforts provided in the first 90 days post-earthquake, CERF support allows WHO to achieve the following outputs: 1. Save lives of people affected by earthquake by sustaining access to essential primary and secondary health services, including mental health; 2. scale up outbreak prevention, detection and control activities to prevent further exacerbation of pre-existing outbreaks; 3. rapidly detect and respond to emerging outbreaks in earthquake-affected areas; and 4. enhance access to post-trauma care, physical rehabilitation services and assistive devices for affected people. This WHO project targets 850,760 affected people.
