Project overview
Through the CERF UFE project, UNICEF aims to provide over 600,000 girls, boys, women and men affected by the February 2023 earthquake with increased access to life-saving WASH and child protection services. Most of the affected people assisted with this project are people living in areas impacted by new waves of displacement as a result of the earthquake. The selection criteria is based on needs linked to the communities’ insufficient access to safe drinking water and/or sanitation and hygiene services; the proposed engagement includes working through community-based approaches alongside direct implementation.
