Project overview
The main objective of this project is to provide food security and agricultural assistance to vulnerable communities affected by conflict within the North, South, East, and West Darfur states. This FAO project empowers protection and patrolling committees by providing them with fuel and financial assistance so as to ensure the overall safety of farmers and herders within the affected localities. This project provides protection and security services to 135,000 people, of whom 41,300 are women, 39,700 are men, 54,000 are children, and 4,000 are people with disabilities.
