Project overview
This project addresses urgent humanitarian needs of over one million children affected by the renewed violence and deteriorating socio-economic conditions in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. Under this project, UNICEF provides integrated water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), child protection and education services. Through these activities, the project mitigates the immediate risks and long-term psychological effects faced by an estimated 36,168 people including 22,570 children and their families, by ensuring their access to essential services, and promotes a stable environment conducive to learning and growth.
