Assist crisis-affected people in Myanmar to meet their food and nutrition needs (23-UF-WFP-064)

Project overview

The main objective of this WFP project is to support crisis-affected people in Chin and Kachin states, ensuring they receive timely food or cash-based transfers that meet their daily nutritional needs, for improved food security. WFP provides an estimated 38,500 people affected by conflict with a one-month ration of food, including rice, pulses, oil, and salt. The distribution will be coordinated with assistance from UNHCR and UNICEF. The project provides life-saving assistance to 93,500 people, including 32,725 women, 26,180 men, and 34,595 children. An estimated 6,546 people with disabilities are expected to benefit from this project.
