Project overview
The main objective of this project was to provide critical child protection, education and nutrition assistance to vulnerable communities affected by conflict-related displacement. This UNICEF project provided quality emergency education services for conflict-affected out-of-school children, child-protection, family reunification and reintegration services for unaccompanied children and those associated with non-state armed groups as well as lifesaving nutrition assistance for severely malnourished children under five. The project provided humanitarian assistance to 33,211 people, including over 1,000 women, over 30,000 children, and over 600 persons with disabilities.
