Project overview
The main objective of this IOM project is to contribute to creating safe and dignified living conditions for internally displaced persons who are affected by gang violence in the metropolitan area of Port-au-Prince and mitigate the protection risks they face. This IOM project provides multi-purpose cash for volunteers, technical support to site committees, including communication, training, and logistics, and self-management kits such as shovels, rakes, hammers, saws, wheelbarrows, and nails, among other activities. In addition, the project provides life-saving assistance to 89,532 people, including 22,691 women, 21,716 men, 45,125 children, and 5,500 persons with disabilities.
