Project overview
The main objective of this project is to ensure the availability of safe, confidential, and comprehensive services for survivors of gender-based violence (GBV) who have been affected by emergencies, including migrant women and girls from Afro-descendant and indigenous communities. This UNFPA project provides survivor-centered services, establishes prevention strategies, and enhances the response teams' capacity. This project provides life-saving assistance to 26,500 individuals, including 18,235 women, 7,880 girls, 265 men, 120 boys, and including 1,200 persons with disabilities.
