Lifesaving nutrition interventions for the most vulnerable migrant families and local populations affected by malnutrition (23-UF-CEF-021)

Project overview

The main objective of this project is to conduct malnutrition screening and treatment in malnutrition hotspots and the Western border, reducing the prevalence of malnutrition and its impact among vulnerable children and families. This project screens 34,000 people for acute malnutrition, admits 700 to the moderate acute malnutrition (MAM) treatment program and 170 to the severe acute malnutrition (SAM) treatment program, and provides vitamins and/or micronutrient supplements to 40,000 individuals. This project delivers life-saving assistance to 40,500 people, including 6,000 women, 500 men, and 34,000 children.
