Project overview
The main goal of this project is to provide health and nutrition assistance to vulnerable people affected by drought. This UNFPA project is implemented through Maternity Waiting Homes by providing essential food supplies, emergency and dignity kits, bedding materials, and raising awareness about maternal health programs. This project supports a total of 9,142 people, of whom 61% are women and 39% are children. 431 persons with disabilities are also supported.
